Today Sandra Denton, a.k.a. Pepa of 80’s Hip Hop group Salt-N-Pepa, turns the big 4-0. Salt-N-Pepa’s song, “Push It,” became a worldwide smash in 1986. Earlier this year, the TV show Glee used the song in one of its early episodes. You can see it HERE. I think it was the hilariously provocative performance of the song that got me hooked on the show. I still love the original cut most of all, though, so it is today’s Song Of The Day. Enjoy, and Happy Birthday, Pep!
